School Updates Until 2012

• In April 2012, Islamic Aid Malaysia made a contribution to build an extra classroom and the building was duly completed in Mid May 2012.

• On the 7^th May 2012, Jabatan Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Sabah (JHEINS) confirmed the status of the school as Sekolah Agama Rakyat.

• We are currently in the process of building toilets and we expect these to be completed by Mid July 2012.

• We have been working with the local Clinic Desa to ensure that the children are being given all the necessary vaccinations. BCG vaccination done on the 26^th June 2012.

• We have plans to build another classroom doubling up as reading/library room to enable the children to use it to improve their reading and communication skills.

• Funding provided by a donor who wished to remain anonymous, we have been able to build a new classroom, completion date – Nov 2012.
